NX setup question

Some chains are uni directional, or so I have heard.

Never encountered that myself. 

Will flip the chain and check. Thanks

Also check whether the jockey wheels are engaging the chain correctly. They're also narrow wide.

Sounds like a worn chainring. You won't see it on the stand because it ony happens under load, but get someone to check for chainsuck on the bottom of the ring as you ride past

Could be either or but the chain came in a really sticky type of greasy lube 

 

so maybe thats the cause as well.

 

Soaked in petrol and applied a decent amount of lube.

wiped off the excess.

And put the chain back on the other way around.

 

Now running smooth as silk

 

 

 

 

I doubted it was the chainring from the begining , cause it has so little milage on I would have been pissed if I needed to replace it now.

funny how many reviews I've read say the shifting is vague.

 

Mine are fast and smooth (click=shift)
