How technical is the 30km route? Have ridden at red barn but not the hard trails.

If it's the same route that is used for the USN races, I would say for the largest part the route is similar to the green route, but there is definitely a couple of sections that would be classified as blue sections.

Thanks. I will keep looking for a cell number to contact to ask. Can't seem to find a contact number.

Also note that the USN race's 30km route does not make use of any of the Red Barn trails. It is mainly across the road although it does end at the Barn itself.

Does anyone have any information about the routes? Specifically the 30km route. Will it be the same as the USN races' routes or different?

So what's the verdict? Is the 30km green?

I'd also like to know. It will be my wife's 2nd race and she cannot ride blue sections yet so hopefully the route will be mainly a green type route...

They emailed back to say that it's not technical. It's seems to be more across the road from Red Barn.

Thanks!! Just note that there are some sections across the road that can be classified as blue, and even one (a steep downhill) as black. I'm assuming then that it won't feature in the route...

I honestly don't know as sometimes the definition of 'technical' differs from person to person. Unfortunately I am not doing the race as initially planned so I did not question them further after my initial enquiry.

If it is anything like the USN races they've held, then it's about as technical as a road race. I would say green route difficulty. Love this venue!
