Crazy88 Posted April 29, 2017 Share Hi Guys, Any opinion on this Giant Anthem 29'er, in terms of components etc? https://bike-addict.co.za/products/giant-anthem-x-29er-2-2017 Looking to move on from my Silverback HT but budget is not huge. Frame needs to be small and I understand most new S frames will only be available in 27.5. Thanks

BigDL Posted April 29, 2017 Share Is that a lower spec than the US model or is the X a different spec? https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/anthem-x-29er
T-Bob Posted April 29, 2017 Share Check the Jeffsey on the yt SA site. They have some good clearances and still had smalls. Killer price / spec.

T-Bob Posted April 29, 2017 Share Thanks, will have a look. Have looked at them before but have been a bit above my price rangeThey had clearance alu Jeffsey for R29k in small with great spec and a pike Vs R27k for the anthem with a raidon. If you're xc racing then maybe it's not the best choislce but for all trail and general riding it's killer.
