Sky has let some big names leave, but i can't understand why Cannondale let Fromolo leave. They pumped the lightie up so much during the Giro that i thought he was going to be their long term plan for GT accolades.

Cannondale Drapac has a teeny budget relative to other teams

Riders' agents has a big role in influencing an athlete's move

I like Martin, but again a strange move to make.

Now that is a great signing. Team DD sign Tom Slagter from cannondale. He is one of those serious talents who seem to have gone dull. Luke a Cummings I'm hoping that this can let him get back to the great riding he was doing a few years back.

I saw the news flash that read - Slagter to join Dimension Data, only problem is it was at 04:00 this morning and the coffee had not kicked in yet and in my befuddled state read it as:

 

Sagan to join Dimension Data - that woke me up - I was pumped for a couple of seconds till I reread the headlines

 

No offence to Slagter who will be a good addition to the team.

No nothing yet, I think the trouble started long before the Tour. I remember at one point Cannondale wanted to withdraw after their 2 year drought (ito wins.)

Damn right. Now let's see Sky get their thumb out of their 'hub' and deliver on that promise as well. Jeez, I wonder if they couldn't have funded one with what they spent on that oversized mobile clubhouse that they are now driving around europe.
