947 CC start pen question

Hi all. I rode my first CC last year in the Charity Batch and finished in 4:21. I have just entered again this year and will be riding for the same charity but I was wondering if my time last year will put me in a slightly earlier batch or if because I am registered with the charity I will automatically just be put in the Charity batch?

You will get a start time based on your seeding for the events you have ridden over the past year. They degrade in value as the year progresses. If your start time is later than the Charity Batch, you can move forward to that one. Or, if they seed you earlier you can start in which ever batch you would prefer.

 

There are a few seeding races between now and the 947, so if you ride just one at a reasonable pace, you should end up with a decent start batch.
