Sram Rival 22 or Shimano 105 11 speed

Recommended Posts

Cant comment on Sram, upgraded to 105 ( from ultegra 10spd) and was really concerned before deciding to do it. 105 very good value for money in my opinion.

SRAM. It is significantly lighter and more unique.

I'm not sure on pricing, but I'm willing to bet more expensive

The sram uses the double tap system. and its about 1,5k more expensive. Pricewise it is more in the range off ultegra than 105

I'm using Ultegra and very happy. Won't go Sram as getting spares in case of damage can be even more expensive as unlike Shimano, its difficult to bring components into the country directly.

You can't beat 105 for value for money.

I personally prefer (and run) SRAM.

No more Sram for me after "they" decided to eliminate all off shore completion and "force" us to make only use off the local distributor

Will buy Sram again when I can order spare parts from CRC again

Sram "force" you to buy local and are actually far behind their "rival" Shimano.

When you cant get spares, you'll be seeing "red"

ok, I cant keep doing this....

Sram is more costly when it comes to replacing parts but if you can afford it then go for it. Much lighter than 105,looks nicer and I enjoy the double tap shifters.
