Sram Groupset

Hi

 

Anyone who do have experience with Sram NX Groupset?

Currently do have Sram on my bike not sure which shifters but I do have Sram X5 rear derialleur 10spd and 10spd Sram Casette. Chain is nearing end of life and while browsing for replacement parts stumbled accross this 11spd upgrade from EVO Bikes.

 

Good or not so Good?

Excellent value for money 

 

Shifter looks and feels "plasticy" but with everything properly setup and clean it shifts just as good as XX1.

 

Only drawback is the cassette weighs what feels like A metric ton other than that you can not fault it

The NX grouppo is excellent. It is a tad heavier than the higher-up offerings from SRAM, but works great. It's fit and forget.

I got the NX "upgrade kit" from Rapide with the 11-42 Sunrace Cassette.

 

Shifts like a dream, albeit it does feel a bit plasticky. I consider it a good upgrade from the X0 10spd I had on previously.

 

Go for it, you will not regret it.

 

That deal from Evo is killer, you will have to go far to beat it.

I've got a GX 1x11 with a NX shifter and it works 100%. Looks a bit plasticky but you don't notice that once it's strapped under the bar. Clicks, changes, never missed a beat.

Check the classifieds as there are alot  of 11sp XT and all GX sets coming through for under that price. Some of them used and new as well.
