Finally sorted. Turns out that a cassette spacer IS required to stop the wobbling. And another spacer was required behind the freehub body.

 

One wonders why things aren't built properly, but there you go. A mere 200km extra traveled to sort this out.

I need to get my own parts and fit them now that Eldron decided to leave us.

This is very interesting. I too use a Sunrace 10spd cassette. And I also get wobbling with mine, although my LBS said the hub is getting to its end.

 

My bike is at my LBS, will give them a call tomorrow to check if there is a cassette spacer.
