I always offer to help ( with my limited skills), however I will not hand out my last 4 bombs (I only carry 5). If you need tools, I will lend them to you and wait.

However I paid the R350.00 (odd) for the race entry, I paid for the bombs, I paid for the tools, I paid for the nutrition, at some point either YOU chip in and help ME pay or GET YOUR OWN!!!

Sadly my finances does not allow me to hand out R200.00 extra at each and every race, and if I can I would much rather buy a mate a beer.

At some point people will have to start relying on their own supplies, I have no issues lending a hand, even if it costs me 15 minutes. However supplying people with stuff is not why I attend events.

"only 5", I don't think you are using the word "only" correctly there :P

I helped a guy on Table Mountain last night... Chain had broke so i helped with the link and chain breaker, The smile on the guys face was well worth it.. I hope that one day, the good I can do will come back when I'm in need... If it doesn't, so be it... But that smile was worth way more than the cost of a link... if he needs a tool to do the job, I'm staying until the job is finished.

Too much fluffy candy floss kumba-ya bru about this.

Stick to the maxim of hurdle the dead, trample the weak. If you're going to waste time stopping, then make sure it's to drink the blood of your enemies from their skulls.

Don't forget to start Strava either.

The weight counters my "boepie"... Therefore excellent balance on the bike!! :whistling:

Actually, we probably use it in a similar way, I just say "baby, I only had 5 GnT after lunch, I don't know why you are upset"
