Hopefully you have helped in getting to the bottom of the bike theft ring in Stellenbosch!AO Manus of SAPS said it is all so tightly connected to the drug issue in town. They have asked me to testify in court, because without the testimony of the owner, cases are thrown out to easily. I have committed to do it. He mentioned that to few want to testify, leaving the police pulling at their hair as they see the repeat offenders just released. So, I also call on this community that if this happens to you, we have to do our part to in breaking these rings by getting the people in jail. Even if it is frustrating and sometimes feel futile.

I've been down this road (actually both of them, found my stolen bike in the window at Pietsefiets back in the day) before, and went to all court dates as it can be quite schlepp as there are always postponements - please follow through
