When was Movistar ever smart? They really only looking after their GC positions and not actually pushing to unseat Sky. In essence they are saying Sky can't be beaten and that they've given up.

Not long now and the leader will turn at the roundabout and face the mountain. Then it's sharp left at the foot of the climb and a long slog up to the first hairpin.

I am well impressed with Kruijswyk - he has held off climbers, the break and the peleton - those legs must be hurting.

 

Rather him than me up the Huez on smashed legs!

Romain Hardy for days most combative rider. Never heard of him and no idea where he is but he is French so I reckon it’s on.
