Not your average Alp d’Huez finish.

Great win for G.

Bernal saved Sky today.

Pity Bardet didn’t take the win.

1km longer and Nibali would’ve taken the stage.

It has been great racing the past few days. Roglic and Bernal showing lots of promise. Kruijswijk gave it everything. TD, Bardet, Landa and Nibali not willing to go into the good night gently at all. It's been an epic 12 stages of racing so far!

I wonder what sort of incident these organizers are waiting for before they barricade the climb and protect the riders. Earlier in the climb a fan got right in between them and almost pushed Froome right off. It’s ridiculous.

Eddy Merckx got kidney punched back when he was trying to go for his sixth TdF win. It happened fairly late into the race. Last week of the race iirc. Thevenet ended up the victor as Merckx couldn't recover well enough from the after effects of the punch. So ASO knows what could happen. They are essentially choosing to turn a blind eye as they seem to be of the belief that this sort of incident is the exception and not the rule.

I am pinning my hopes on Roglic to make a dent in the GC standings.

Laaik his racing style.

If he keeps with this curve and keeps his form until this time next year I reckon he could be contending for the win or at the very least a podium place. Top 5 definitely doable for this year.
