Missing adaptor on Ryder floor pump

Hey peeps.

tried to pump up the bike yesterday and found the valve adaptor on the Ryder Air tank pump has gone AWOL.

OH can't remember if he took it off, never mind where it might be - I managed to get my bike going using the little valve adaptor  but would be nice to get one back.

I've contacted Ryder directly as well, see if they sell it, but thought I'd try my luck if anyone has a pump around that is otherwise poked and have that attachment for me :D

In the first pic, that is the adaptor.  If that's not the correct one, then unscrew the silver part, turn it around and screw it back in.  You can see the o'ring in your pic which seals between the screw adaptor and the head of the pump if you turn it around.

That pump doesn't automatically adjust between the presta and schraeder valves, you need to manually turn it around.  I suspect that's all that's happened here.

Attached a pic to clarify what I'm talking about.  The whole silver part in the green circle gets unscrewed and turned around.  At the end of the silver piece it says which valve it will pump up.  I suspect its on Schreader as you were successful with an adaptor.  The other side will say Presta.

I hearby award and humbly accept the dumbass dunce award :)

Thanks, ah this reminds me of the time I took my car to the auto electrician because the dash lights weren't coming on. Yah. Happy again.

You can all sorts of parts for these pumps. Just see who the dealers are.

I managed to buy that little rubber insert from a shop in PE. They also had that whole unit.
