Patchelicious Posted January 19, 2018 Share Makes so much sense with the ability to fit some nice wide tyres.Yes, got a BMC GF02 with 700 40c Spez Sawtooths with Stage, for less that half the price of the 3T, does exactly the job of this bike. I was hard pressed to spend 3T level money on a gravel bike that will get dropped, chipped and dusty etc. The 650b wheels was actually what put me off at the end. Hahaha, so thats been my mistake all this time, need to Youtube this riding your bike thing again I have knocked my balls on my stem more than once. If I was riding this bike, I think you would only knock your balls once, from there on out you would be knocking your mangina.

Thomo Posted January 19, 2018 Share Specialized Tarmac or Venge ?I probably should have added, "assist without breaking the bank."I'm looking for a frame only which limits one to Sworks. 50k+Tarmac may also still be using QR rather than thru axle which is apparently becoming industry standard. The offensive bit seems to be a cover of sorts. must be able to get a different one that's less hazardous. I really like the look of the no cables bikes - Venge Vias, new Propel, that Teammachine, Madone, KTM (Lisse?). Much cleaner look than the Aeroad, Foil etc.

Simon123 Posted January 19, 2018 Share Back in budget land, about to pull the trigger on this to replace my road bike. Hardly a roadie, but this one seems to tick all the boxes for the budget I have. Plus it matches my mountain bike in colour scheme. Winning. http://s-tec-essence.eshop.t-online.de/WebRoot/Store4/Shops/Shop38023/59CB/C9EB/67C5/4F59/2A99/AC14/500B/528C/P9191250.JPG
