Don't you have an old wetsuit? I fashioned a pair from an old wetsuit, 2 x 2L ice cream containers and some velcro.

I cut the legs off, cut them open, sewed on a pouch for the 2L ice cream container plastic to slide into the sewed some velcro onto some other off cuts for a closing system. Didn't take me long and was pretty basic. I updated them with some waxed canvas as it's tougher when it collides with the pedal pins.

Used these for a while then splashed out on a set of 661's for about 600 zar.

My advice would be to buy some but some neoprene, plastic and some waxed canvas does the job if you have a sewing machine and some skillzzz....

If you've ever worn stretchy skinny skinny jeans you would know that heat, damp, sweat, wet and inseams make for a very very uncomfortable situation.....

I found some cheap, low profile Nike J guards that should do the trick. And I can rock some long lumo pink socks under my baggies.. Wheeee!

1. Wear. Not wore. But it's a straight cut. not the super skinny stretch denim that kids nowadays wear that they found in the girls department. In my misspent youth we were listening to punk music. So baggy jeans and androgynous was a thing.

2. It's snug over my calves, thighs and derriere. The One person who's opinion matters finds me attractive in them.

3. Anine is a girl's name so I'll encourage her to error skinnies.

4. I put it to you sir that you are a cyclist, and therefore wears or has worn lycra.

I rest my case your Honor.

1. straight cut = cool

2. score

3. lol

4. lycra, never heard of her
