I based my training on the previous year's Last year was BRUTAL. Day 1 was wet as all hell...But awesome! It was so sick to ride in those conditions. Difficult and fun.Day 2 was pretty much dry (except for the dirt and river crossing on stage 1)...But holy hell, day 2 broke me physically.Imagine Ezelfontein enduro. You finish, get to the bottom of stage 5 and get told...Oh ya, hike back up there again!Day 3 was officially canceled....Thankfully as I would/could not have ridden.Go over prepared. And practice hiking WITH your bike, not just without the bike.Rad event and rad dudes organising and competing

I see it changed in the last couple of minutes to 120km total. That's why I was worried.

Dunno if you've done any stage races, but they are piss in comparison. W2W can't even compete with how I felt on Day 2 of KE

Hahaha.

Do iiittt! Absolutely incredible experience. Pack your biggest set of balls in and be sure to hike up Table Mountain a bunch with your bike on your shoulders and you'll be good.
