I am aiming for 9000 km this year.would like to say I will match your goal, but it will be interesting getting to that figure!

I certainly hope so, as this would mean a +- 75km return trip for the day/

That is how my cycling started. Decided to do the commute to work. Almost died on the first commute (I was really really unfit and somewhat overweight).

My 14km doesn't quite get the distance that i want. 25km feels like a worthy distance, and hopefully longer on some days.

Another 348 odd days of life to happen. Things don't always pan out as expected. Small sub challanges between yourself and others will also develop and make it fun. I have pretty much 3 months I can't cycle in the year due to winter here that basically knocks me out of the top spots. But still aiming for a good position changed my dedication to commuting. To such a point that my wife actually suggested dumping my Public Transport card which costs about 1750€ per year and see if I can't commute more by buying better kit for the weather.
