FWIW from a slow ballie. My advice if you are a Glen first timer. Let the speed come rather than trying to pin it. Ride into the grip that is there. Don't try too hard to go fast. The trail can bite. If that makes sense.

 

Also there's loads of people walking their dogs there in the afternoon. If you see a dog walker slow right down and say hi & give the dog a friendly pat. And if you have other mates coming tell the person how many riders are on track.
