Popit Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 I am looking at the RP28 wheels from CRC .Looks like they are made exclusively for CRC . Anyone have a set ??If so , feedback please ( Even if it is not the RP28's ) .

I went ahead and ordered these wheels last Thursday .Paid the R1300 for DHL Express and 3pm yesterday they arrived . They look awesome ....Put tyres on ( not tubless even though they are tubless ready ) and rode them today . Boy was I pleasantly surprised .Stiff , roll beautifully , and look the part .Next step will be to put tubless tyres on . So R10k buys a lekker set of full carbon training wheels , brand new and a 1 year warranty .... The box arrives with tubless valves , 4 spare spokes and Carbon specific brake pads .The rims already have the tubeless tape on them ... Yippee ....

Good or bad thing ??Mine are rim brakes and will only be used on the road . I think it is good to give spare spokes . I broke a spoke on a R30k set of wheels and it took 2 months to get the correct replacement spoke from the importer ....

I only seem to break spokes on wheels where I don't have spares - if they put spares in the box it is mostly to make the original spokes unbreakable

Can you still access the item OP?Closest match it gave was for Token's C28, price not too far off.
