Not sure if i can post this here, but I have a Giant with an OD2 (overdrive 2) fork, headset, stem. It means the fork-end of the stem is larger than standard, measuring at 1.25 inches, or 31.75 mm. Im looking to find a short stem, preferably 60mm but 70 or anything shorter than 60 would work too. Please contact me if you have something or know where to get. Giant does make them as short as 60, but i cant afford to pay a grand for a stem...

Thanks in advance

From where? You sure they were OD2? OD is standard size, od2 is the larger one

Give Wayne at Giant South Coast a call. Think I paid around R500 for mine.

I bought my 60mm OD2 stem on eBay. Cost around R400 bucks and took about 4-5 weeks to get here, but totally worth it. Comes with a reducer to use it on a standard steerer too.

Williams Bike Shop in Somerset West.

Tbh I'm not sure if it's OD or OD2. It came with a shim to fit normal steerers.

Will see if I can measure it when I'm on my workshop later.

Edit: mine is 31.7mm. OP, give your local Giant shop a call, there has to be cheaper options.

You can also buy a 1.5" stem and get a reducer made up. It's a bit of a hack, but sometimes easier than trying to hunt unicorns.
