Canaris Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 if you are into small battery packs, one yank used AA or AAA (they have the same voltage, just less run time), and slide them into his mtb handlebars. HE used a bit of insulation tape to cover the wiring.

Why carry a Camelbak for a 20/30k night ride ? If I use my green light, the battery pack has to sit in the bottle cage and then carrying a Camelback on such a short ride becomes a ball ache. Azonic Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Mampara, no. BL made that one for me for racing purposes only. We often have 1 hour night races here so that battery lasts just over an hour at maximum brightness. I haven't seen the Rev 1 battery pack yet.
