I ride a Titan Sonic, and I'll suggest going for the Silverback. When I was in the US, bike shops over there were raving about the Manitou forks.

You can always upgrade drivetrain when you need to.

Jip, definitely the Sido and it looks really nice. The Manitou forks are really good and reliable. I changed bikes and inevitably also forks, Fox to Manitou, and was pleasantly surprised by the Manitou.

Slightly off Topic: The Silverback Sprada 110Rear 120Front is a very capable and great all-round bike. I think its a better comparison to the CUBS 120. (No Idea where the pricing comes in.)

I rode one for the last 6 months after Riding a Rocky Mountian Element for 5 years and its a very underrated suspension design. Sensitive and feels bottomless for a 110mm although It will do XC riding all day.

I just noticed that the bike in the link is a 27.5 inch and not 29. What difference would that make if I would go for the 27.5?

Wheel size is very subjective and all depends on the rider. What I can suggest when taking the bikes for a test ride - check the BB height on the 27.5 for the Cube as this can be lower than the 29er, especially since the travel is at a meaty 120mm, and pedal strikes can occur more frequently. NOT a deal breaker, just need to get the suspension and tire pressure right depending on terrain.

Happy testing!!!

it depends...

and how tall are you/what size bike are you looking at.

that's a bit of a broad statement, but you see some bikes offering 29er in l/xl sizes and 27.5 in s/m.

I feel way too much is put on wheel size, it's like it is the first intersection in the bike choice journey. I have both a 29er and a 26er in my shed, and use them for different things

I am 1.78m and I am looking at the L for the 29er. I think that is the correct size for my height, but I think at the end of the day it probably comes down to how comfortable it is for the rider.

Just make sure about the sizes. I'm 1.82m tall, and my Titan Sonic is a Medium 29er.

I am 1.78 and have a large 29er silverback. My sisters titan is exactly the same size and is a medium.
