Headshot Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Is it possible to increase the travel of a 170mm Yari to 180mm? What brought this on is the geo of my new Enduro 650B. The bars sit rather low because of a very short head tube. The steerer arrived cut quite short so very little room to raise bar height. I've managed to eke out a little bit more height with a different stem but a riser bar would be the only way bring the front up .... except of course by increasing the fork length/travel. I have also discovered something quite interesting after noting that my 160mm Pike parked next to the 170mm Yari looks like it has almost the same travel. The Pike measured at 165mm while the Yari at 168mm. Barely any difference in other words. I really want 180mm up front. Droo, help please.
