A quick search on Windeed says that the City owns both of those lots. The SG diagram suggests that someone did purchase one of them back in 1930, but who knows what had happened since then.

Yeah, its a dog show as the city refuse to remove people etc from there as they claim its not their land etc. They only take action if the people go onto the sports ground. 

 

Going to put a gate from by back garden onto the plot and cut in a track and see what happens.

looks like it is still on city register, but there coukd well be a landclaim on it (it is two separate erfs)
