Well I climbed on, basically balanced myself for a sec with my full weight on the bike and then climbed off. Can't see how the o ring can move further if I climb off.

Ill just ask my mate to help my tomorrow before our ride

So the point I’m trying to get across to you is that if the positive and negative chambers are not not Properly balanced then when you hop on the bike and try to set the sag t will still try to balance the shock meaning the positive airspring will lose pressure and the rear will sag more. You’ll fit the shock pump and the pressure will have dropped and then you’ll pump it again, get on the same will happen. You’ll think it’s leaking but it’s not. You need a shock pump to set it up correctly and you need to ensure the shock is balance across the positive and negative chamber or you will chase your tail.

Ok thanks. I have no idea how to do that in anyway. This is my first bike in 10 years so don't have a clue how these things work.

Ill just ride my bike and leave these technical stuff to my local store. For now...

Find a guy called Ant Martin. Ask him. Job done.

If you don't know him, you won't have to ask more than 3 people on MTBs in George for one of them to know where to find him.

Hi guys. Don't want to start a new thread but need some help regarding a indoor trainer.

As you know I have a Spark 940 MTB. Can you guys recommend me a decent indoor trainer that wont break the bank?

Done some research regarding fluid vs magnetic ect and simply cant decide which is best.

If anyone can point me to a thread or link me to a nice indoor trainer I would appreciate it. Thanks

Chat to this guy, he'll advise accordingly with all the pros/cons. Run's his own training studio as well.

There is a thread about it, do a quick search on the hub.
