Came across this today.

Days since last defeating gunners in the premier league:

Man City 631, Man United 865, Liverpool 1037, Tottenham 1041, Chelsea 1243

Hardly seems possible when one listens to the Sky and ESPN FC and ITV pundits, BBC and TNT ones less so.  Craig Burley, Stevie Nichols, Gary Neville and that hypocritical prick Jamie Carragher are the worst.

I'll swerve mentioning performances in the other competitions. 😂

Carragher is a vile human being. Shocked he still has a job.

Imagine premier league matches being played every day of the week.... 🤔

Just goes to prove that stats will always answer only the relevance of the question...

Lol, nothing personal... just amazed at nonsense stats.

Got that, just twitter stats those.  My knowledge of stats amounts to approximately zero.  None of us are

I might have added a pic to my last comment.

Why nonsense.

it illustrates a point. And quite a valid one at that. Those are big clubs.

unless the stats themselves are false.

Of course it's nonsense stats.

Which of those clubs plays a league match every day? Especially since its against a particular club, amounting to just 6 or 7 matches... How then is the number of days meaningful?

It does show how strong the gunners have been the last few years under the Arteta dynasty. the clubs mentioned are potential top 4 clubs every year .

it would be nonsense when you say Arsenal have not beaten Halifax in 47 million days.

when’s the last time spurs were beaten by Arsenal? 😂

since May 2022 spurs vs arsenal played 6. 1 draw, 1 spurs win, 4 Arsenal wins.

that’s a sad tale of the north London derbies.

On point! 👌🏽

See, the number of matches makes more sense than the number of days... just like your Halifax comparison... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

With my knowledge of shithousery far exceeding my knowledge of stats, I could do with some assistance.  What kinda nonsense stat would this constitute?

Days since Tottenham were defeated by Arsenal in the premier league:

1

I was about to write the above bit of crude shithousery on returning from my sunset beach ride when I encountered this far more eloquent response 👇

Another interesting stat is that spurs are now 15th and lowest of all the London clubs.

and todays game is a tricky one.

Might it not be interesting to compare the above with similar stats on Saints... 🤔
