It's about the executive decision-making.... Daniel Levy ran that ship strategically. He knew what he wanted, and set about getting exactly that. Of course he didn't get every call right, and he sometimes admitted. I think there were a few he wouldn't admit, such as sacking Potchettino. That call was pushed by a few Spurs fans when the team wobbled a bit. Same fans helped influence Levy to go for Mourinho. Probably a good call, but the end of Mourinho opened a while can of worms.... And the result is where we find ourselves now. Sacking Levy was also a poor call, given the timing and manner of execution. Although, the boardroom did need fresh ideas...
