Went down to Farnborough game yesterday. Last season we were front runners. How times have changed. Woeful.

but, I had a pie and a few pints in the glorious late summer sunshine so all good.

Saint fire manager, talk of Ralph coming back.

Now, I reckon firing Ralph caused a chain of events leading us to be one above relegation in championship so it was a dreadful error but the board to fire him. That said, I don’t think he can change much and will need a year or 2. This is not a bad thing as I reckon juMpin back up will just result in a demotion again.

another name in the hat is Martin, he was fired from rangers and had a dismal record and his playing out from the back got us into poo too many times. I hope sanity prevails.

It's been a crazy sequence of events ar Saints... fingers crossed

Meanwhile, it seems the honeymoon is over for Thomas Frank down at The Lane.

The only thing that surprises me, is that it came so soon. I wasnt in favour of Frank purely because I didnt believe he had a CV to match the job profile and sometimes high expectations of the Spurs fanbase  I still would like to see hime succeed though....

I thought Frank was a good choice, only reservation I have is he is a manager that does well with limited resources, his rise at Brentford was spectacular. I wish him well.

we need guys like Frank in the premiership.

I can't say Spusr have unlimited resources, albeit bigger corporate structure...

But Frank has to start playing for results.

The Sunderland vs Arsenal result is no surprise, Sunderland are simply brilliant.  I've always been an admirer of Sunderland skipper Granit Xhaka through his Arsenal trials and successes and his brilliance.  If nominative determinism was ever a thing, Granit is it.

Spurs untied game was entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed that.

arsenal I thought were the better side but football is like that.

Sunderland have exceeded my expectations and then some. Amazing.

lookign forward to the Sunderland Newcastle derbies this season.
