Leicester and chelski got smashed this weekend... Cant see any of them beating united who now looks firm favorites for 3rd.

Bizarre second half. I could not believe it.

United got a tricky fixture tomorrow.

I’m gonna call this... a big let-off for City!

Indeed..I also have no problem with it either.

Ban has been overturned and fine reduced to 10m for not playing nice with Uefa.[emoji6]

The thread has the statement in it.

CAS found that Uefa did not present sufficient conclusive evidence to support their case..

Can you actually believe such frivolous reasoning for the overturn?

If ever there was a time to believe that football is rigged, now is it! From having such a comprehensive case against City, now there not enough evidence... Really!!!!

Oh well, I suppose the COVID-19 break gave much consideration about the repercussions of banning City, since it’s not as though they are going to win the 2020 Champions League...

Let’s not forget that City took this case ruling to CAS on appeal of their 2year.

So, should we expect UEFA to appeal the CAS ruling then? Pffffttttt....!!

Anyway, this is also very likely the end of FFP rules as we know it.

Lol.. I don't know enough about what was presented regarding the case etc but the CAS is not a football entity and I don't know under which EU laws they would further had to have stated their case either..or even if that would've been a factor.. FFP is far from perfect and there is now precedent for future cases. So either a complete overhaul of FFP or more bans overturned. Edited by Gen

I am not sure where they would appeal to though..maybe some or other EU entity [emoji2368]

AFAIK you can't appeal a CAS decision...i am however not sure.

Sure, I agree... Just trying to find a justification for UEFA, lol... Everyone knows they need it!

Lol if Uefa's case was too weak to present to the CAS then they only have themselves to blame hey..if they banned them without having sufficient evidence then that's on them.

So they innocent and promise to never do it again.

Wycombe wanderers vs Oxford United promises to be a great game. My neighbour is an oxford fan so either he laugh or cry later. Wembley is a grand stadium.

We at old Trafford. I put a tenner down for a win. Pays 120. Worth a flutter. If we get early goal I cash in an make some money. That’s what I did against city cos I bottled it at half time.

Point at old Trafford an 27 quid up.

Some days just go my way.

Yip and to snatch the draw in injury time like Fegie did was pricless.  This team is getting a solid backbone and playing some great pressing footie.  Well done to the coach and all the Saints , probably the fittest team in th eleague.

Wycombe wanderers enter the championship...much to my neighbours disdain and its history for the club...well done.

As mentioned before, i watch a lot of championship football. i find it exciting and less melodramatic than the premioership, most of the games are quite frenetic in comparison....there is a nice tussle happening for the top 2 positions with Brentford on a stonking run but the real interesting part of it is the race for P6... half a dozen teams are in with a chance....nail biting stuff
