Will be doing a bit of everything but nothing too extreme on the downhill side, cross country riding I think is the right term, some hills, single tracks. Was told not to cheap out on my purchase, but cheap seems to be a relative term in this game. So I set a budget of around 30k for the bike. The stumpjumper st entry level comes in around that price. Now my question is, is it a decent option for what I want to do or is there better/ other option around that price range. I see Scott Spark 2018 models are on special at quite a few places. 940 for 35-36, is that more bang for my buck or are neither of these models really compatible for what I wanna do. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
keithbe Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Both bikes are good options. You're going to have to ride as many bikes as you can so that dropping 30k is on the right one.

But there's loads of bikes in that price range Trek fuel, Momsen Vipa, Merida 96, Giant Anthem best would be pick about 3 you like best go and test ride it and see which is the winner.
