Hi guys. I recently noticed about 4 wet lines on my ardent race but just on the sidewall. its like water and seems to me the tyre is sweating thru the sidewall. The tyre is only a month old but doesnt loose pressure from this. Really not sure if i should just leave it. could it be standing to close to the indoor fireplace and then going out in the cold. Thanks.

My Schwalbe's used to sweat. I use Stand sealant and never had the issue with my Maxxis tires.

In my experience the issue iwith sweating s that the water leaks through the tire which means the sealant is getting more viscous which in turns affects the sealing process negatively.

Have asked around previously I was told that not all tires are compatible with all sealants so might be worth looking at that.

For Tubeless Performance applications it is better to use Maxxis LUST/UST Tyres.

The Ardent Race is a Fantastic Tyre for XC but it's not available in LUST/UST only TR.

Try Changing the Sealant. (Stans seem to be very good).

Once the sealant thickens and dries inside the tyre it will not work anymore and can make the tyre rubber compound harder and more brittle.

You can also run tubes with sealant inside on the Ardent Race TR tyres without problem.

Ok thanks guys. Just scared for a possible blow out during the k2c. But im sure that wont happen. Thanks again.

As long as the bead is properly seated, dont sweat it... :) you will be fine - enjoy the ride.

Had it on my Onzas.  Sealant leaking though a perishing sidewalls.  Eventually developed a slow leak and progressively got worse until I had to replace.
