Why only  50 basis points, was hoping for 100 at least....ok, i'm running.

 

But ja, it won't suprise me if we get increase as soon as august again...if not september. The goverment made a mistake by thinking our economy will not be so badly affected by the world trend cause we going to grow for 2010....well, well.....now we all pay for it dubbel. This inflation might increase till this time next year and then it should improve again hopefully....

And STILL everyone recons it should've been atleast 1 % and that we're dumped in screwed inflation for a while to come now !!!   good job guys...Dead

Within a matter of seconds of the announcement, the rand took a huge knock, this together with Russia's resisting any downward move by Opec to reduce the barrel price of oil makes for tough times to come.
