Recommendation for kids helmet

Hi there, I doubt you'll find many decent options for kids helmets. Most of the superstores like Game/Makro have some cheapies that should suffice.

Alternatively you might have to fork out around R400-R500 for a kids helmet from one of the reputable brands like Specialized, Scott or Giant, see if you can find agent for these in your area and have a look at what they have to offer.

I got my kids some nice helmets, I think they're IXS but can't remember exactly now...  They're nice enduro style ones which cover the back of the head and have an adjuster.  Essentially they're like my helmet just smaller.  Giro have also brought out a nice junior range recently. 

 

You can get cheap rubbish helmets at Sportsmans / Checkers but I'd rather spend some money and make sure that my kids pips are as protected as they can be.
