Difference between xsync & xsync2.

Hi all. Im replacing my gx 12 speed crank with a x0 10 speed carbon crank. Im sure it will work but whats the difference between xsync & xsync2 chainrings? Will my xsync2 work or should i go for the older version? Thank you.

Xsync is 1x11 with square tooth profile viewed side on.

Xsync 2 is 1x12 with the shark fin tooth profile.

Either is compatible with 1x11 and 1x12.

Yes, it'll work as long as it's the same mounting standard. Thickness of the teeth is identical across 10/11/12 speed. As DiD says, it's jusut the tooth profile that has changed on the SRAM Xsync2 ring.
