Why the quotes? Clarens is a real place haha. There are a few trails in the area, Clarens Xtreme have a map available that you can follow.

First time I rode there from a place we were staying at by Sterkfontein dam to do a recce of the Maluti Double 90 finish and then for the Maluti double 90. You could ride to and through golden gate, it's a tough but scenic ride. Personally I don't like Clarens as I find it boring and would only go for Maluti.
