Treadmill advice

My wife is looking at buying a treadmill.

being a cyclist i am John Snow in this field and need some help.

our requirement are not much.

i suspect 2 hours of use a week would be a lot. she is not training to run, but rather to get some cardio in after hours (she does not feel safe running the roads after dark).

bluetooth would be nice, so she can listen to music.

i have more than enough HR belts so if it could link via ANT+ or BLE that would also be great. again, not entirely necessary as she uses her Apple watch to track her training.

i have zwift setup to a TV in a dedicated training room for myself, so being able to link the treadmill to that would also be great.

this however is not a must as i suspect this will drive costs up dramatically.

Budget is around the R10k to R12k area.

we could squeeze higher if it makes sense to do so.

so the questions:

what do i look for in a treadmill?

i assume track size, speed, power of motor, features?

your help is greatly appreciated.

thoughts on Reebok? - takealot has a number of them on special

Mate of mine bought the Jet 300 recently (Nov 2018).

Great piece of kit which I've tested and found to be plenty of good for home use. he has used it daily since with no hassles.

The ZJET 460 at R12,000 would be my purchase if I have the dosh. has bluetooth, built in fans etc and the price is great

Edit: this specific model has a 2.5hp motor and speed of 20km/h. Very important

thanks Ed,

that is also the unit i am looking at.

i'd also be happy to buy a used unit provided it was barely used and decent quality

Got the Reebok Jet 300 for the wife to use in her diet plan. Not used a lot, but works well. Had the controller for the motor give up the ghost a few weeks back, was still in warranty and the treadmill guy came and swapped it out. Works well again.
