Pulley wheels - SRAM GX vs NX

Not cheap but they are using good bearings and are Alu so I can imagine a lot longer lasting than all the standard ones.

I've not worn out 11s or 12s Eagle pulley wheels. I have had to service the bearings though but a flush out and relube with Chris King Ring Drive lube and they're good to go another 1500km before I repeat. Which  reminds, they're due some preventative maintenance again this weekend along with my PF30A BB.

Al wheels may not last longer than the plastic. Al is not as tough as the plastic and when using a XX1 chain (which is very hard and hard wearing) the chain may wear the pulley wheels. I prefer the plastic because of the toughness but also the elasticity that prevents mud grit from wearing the teeth away

You can get replacement bearings for pulley wheels when they wear out - they eventually develop play and your shifting goes to the dogs.
