ChloeR Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Hi, new to cycling, just got a bike. Took for a ride, front brake reservoir is leaking. Can one get spares for that, need to fix on budget. Where can anyone recommend?

droo Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 You may be able to get away with just stripping and rebuilding the lever - if the fluid is leaking out of the breather hole in the reservoir cap it may just be fluid that's leaked through the rubber over time. If you need a new bladder spares are still available from the supplier, your LBS can order for you.
MrJacques Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 I was at a bike shop the other day that had a couple of Avid brake levers waiting to be fixed. If you go and ask nicely at one they might have spares for you.
