That Sora specced BMC from bikemarket would definitely be my first port of call in your price range.

Those aluminium Caads are great frames and easily as light as some top end carbon ones - take the poor thing outside for a good run and it'll love you forever! Uhm, sorry DJR .... This Canondale is now a permanent trainer. LOVE this rig So nice to get miles in the saddle, while it is raining outside ..... Still FAR prefer my MTB on the trails !!!
