So looking at a new Scott Spark 900RC vs a used Specialized 2018 Epic Expert (full carbon, incl. wheels). Scott is cheaper by R5000 or so. I have no idea which is the better buy. HElp!!

Choice between Scott's TwinLoc remote vs Specialized's brain suspension.

Personally I'm pro new vs old, but I'm also pro specialized.

That being said, maintenance on the Spez will cost more, and you don't know what it's been through.

Scott would be a good choice for peace of mind but, Spaz has a very good finish/attention to detail.

Something to consider would be long term maintenance, I have heard that the brain shocks could be costly to service.

Do some research on both for service intervals and price.

Also I have heard that Spaz warranty can go on to second owner, how true this is I don't know might be worth speaking to head office to get the correct info.

At the end of the day both are nice bikes which one will get you riding more?
