FitTrack.co.za - Whats up?

Hi

Is not just me or is FitTrack.co.za not working as advertised.

I have been using it for many years as it local, nice and simple.

It's meant to read your Strava account and populate your workouts. Recently mine has stopped doing just that.

To add to my frustrations, I can't upload the file manually either.

Looking at the interface, it needs an update and the Garmin Communicator was phased out years ago...

And second frustration is the lack of response to my emails with regards to this.

Anybody else having these issues?

PS - Yes I know I can use Training Peaks or Garmin Connect or Strava, but I like FitTrack as I use the training programs.

Thanks...

Thought that the site managers abandoned it a long time ago since their online shop and training plans became free and Momentum stopped using them... I only check there for nice training programs now.

I also still use fittrack - for the same reasons as you

My experience is slightly different - after months of not updating my Strava rides the site is now doing so maybe once or twice a week. And I am still able to update my rides manually

Edit - correction I don't try to upload files, I enter the info manually

Remember Strafha has stopped syncing with a few fringe and a couple not-so fringe integrations recently, mainly due to Social Media traits, of which FatTrack has some features. I too used it, but it became a pain in the ass to upload, so now I use Strava with Elevation synced and my Polar. Works well.

Works fine for me - when I upload, but it doesn't sync with Strava.

Hi Frosty

Thanks for comments. So how do you upload then if not via Strava. Do you do it manually?

For me, I can even import a Garmin / Strava file?

Thanks

I upload the .fit file using their upload facility. Then change the time and date to match the time/date of the actual ride.

So its RIP Fittrack

Just got the mail & sms - Fittrack is finally being put out of its misery. Being switched off on 1 February

Website didn't keep up with the times but when I started cycling back in 2011 it was pretty nice compared to what was available out there. Used the training programs a lot over the years.

Have some work to do to copy over old training history before the plug is pulled tomorrow!
