Willehond Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 I went to the start of the Ster Elektrotoer's final stage and saw the Man himself in real life. What a nice guy. While most guys are quite aloof, Boonen was happy to pose for photos and talk to everyone and that before a stage! I guess having won the previous stage helped to relieve the pressure. One thing is for sure, I am a converted fan! So here is a pic, especially for Fire: What was amazing was that there was a whole crowd at the Quickstep caravan and almost nobody at the other busses. No wonder the others were grumpy.... Here he is with his fans:
