Kranswurm Posted January 25, 2020 Share http://marshmemorial.org.za/ Marsh Memorial Homes in Rondebosch are the people we have donated childrens stuff of all kinds to over many years. They have been around for more than a 100 years and do fantastic work. They will accept anything and whatever they cannot use, they will sell at their yearly fete. Of course, if there are a couple of captains of industry lurking here, with a bit of a tax bite coming up, feel free to donate big too and deduct it from your taxable income. It will be used well. Very worthy cause.
DJR Posted January 25, 2020 Share The other home we have donated to over the past few years since getting to know them through one of Slowbees charity rides (miss those), is Nazareth House in Vredehoek. They have homes for both children and adults and from everything I saw there, they do great work. http://www.nazhouse.org.za/ Edited January 25, 2020 by DJR CatzSpace "frail"
Frosty Posted January 27, 2020 Share They would be gladly accepted at the Avril Elizabeth.Alan v H used to sponsor a race that supported them.We called it the Teddy Bear Ride. https://www.avril.org.za/our-history/Thanks. In all the year of my existence, I have heard about the Avril Elizabeth home, but I never knew where they were, or what they did. As they are in the "tin", I'll give them a call and get my girls to join me as we hand over their much loved bears. Pikey and Kranswurm
