Hub and fork modifications

Hi all,

I have a Trek Crockett with a rear QR and a front 15mm thru axle

I want to have two set of wheels so that i can easily swop road and gravel tyres

I bought a second set of wheels (off the hub classifieds) but it does not fit my existing frame as both front and rear wheels are meant for 12mm thru axle. This set of wheels are dt swiss with axis hubs

The specific challenge that i have is:

- Front hub - ideal solution would be to replace the current 12mm adapters with 15mm but the inner diameter of the hub is a 12mm - is there some sort of adapter that would allow me to convert the holes/thread on the front fork from 15 to 12mm? This way i can use the wheel/hub and dont need to make any mods?

- Rear hub - i bought a rapide set of QR adapters for the rear hub - they dont fit but it seems like they can be machined to fit (the inner diameter of the adapters needs to be widened) - is this something that i can do? who would be able to do this?

Sorry for the long post but i am in a pickle and would appreciate any advice that i can get!

Not much info on those online sadly. Front hub you'll battle if the bearing ID is only 12mm, rear hub you may be able to get adapters made up or modified. End caps are specific to the hubset, so you can't just buy any old thing and expect it to fit. Axle diameters, flange offsets etc all vary from hub to hub.
