I have the Lezyne Mega XL GPS. For the money, it is really good bang for buck. Not the prettiest unit though. Super long battery life and plenty of features for its price. Very underrated unit in my opinion.

Okay thanks, how do you find the turn by turn navigation? Particularly mountain if you know.

Just had a look now at the Lezyne Mega, thanks for that input. Anybody here have one? Thoughts?

I’ve “ordered” one, just waiting for feedback that they actually have stock. Less than R3500, including the out-front mount. Will continue to use my Garmin for Vitality purposes, and of course my off bike activities.

Edit: Ping Mecheng89, he has one and has done a few MTB rides with us, on his cross-bike.

The Lezyne Mega is fantastic. I bought it for the screen size and obviously price. I use reading glasses but not while riding so the big screen helps. Really customisable and you can have different screens with different data on them.

Often when they launch new firmware, some really cool add ons happen. Latest one is Komoot for navigation.

That I can't help with, unfortunately. I've never actually used the navigation feature for either mountain or road  .
