  2. Until they bring back hangings in the town square at noon, this type of behavior will continue and sadly increase.
  3. The black frame
  4. Is this a big job? What would the process be? I have messaged Titan Racing and I am waiting their reply
  5. The new mechanic is as solid as they come.
  6. I joined a ride where the leader was on a E bike. Won't make that mistake again.
  7. On the recent Herald event here in PE, the amount of power aid bottles on the side of road was shocking. Worst of all most were at least 3/4 full. Not only litter but wastage. Those bottles cost a sponsor a lot of money
  8. Cycling apparently can temporarily increase psa levels but after 48 hours should return to normal.
  9. Well that's what I wanted to hear. Thank you.
  10. Nope
  11. Sounds like you caught between a rock and a hard place.
  12. When I went for the initial appointment with the urologist, I had to pay R1200 for the appointment as my medical aid only kicks in for hospital expenses. After receiving the breakdown of the invoice I was left feeling somewhat used and cheap. R800 for the consult and R400 for the scan. That means the finger up the 0 was a freebie. No soft music, fine dining or chocolates...... 🤣 Suppose I should just be thankful he did not go with a second opinion and use two fingers 😂
  13. No problem will do. The procedure will be done in May. The urologist also cycles so he said lets do it in May when the weather is on the cold side so the 4-6 weeks off the bike won't be so bad. I am also researching prostate friendly saddles. Apparently those that have the cut out in the middle are the ones to use. Did not help me much as I have been using that type of saddle for roughly 5 years. Suppose if it will happen it will happen.
  14. Hi. Zero physical issues except for the occasional weak stream when urinating. There is a bit of a back story to this and a lesson for all men. I am at the age where they recommend a annual PSA level blood test. I have been doing this since 2018. For some reason I skipped 2023 and 2024. Then on the Wild Dog dual purpose forum a guy had his PSA levels checked and they were off the chart high and he tested for cancer. Gave me a wake up call and last year I had my levels checked. Slightly elevated and above the accepted limit. Off to the urologist who did a scan and that other rather unpleasant thing they do. Turns out the scan showed my bladder not emptying properly and the prostate was enlarged. So in I went for a biopsy to rule out cancer. Test results came back as negative for cancer. I was placed on a 6 month course of Uromax in the hope the swelling would go down. Needless to say the prostate is still enlarged and now it needs to be scraped as a bladder that does not empty properly can cause rather bad kidney issues. So if you are over 50, learn the lesson and check those PSA levels annually.
  15. So my enlarged prostate needs to be scraped. 2 to 3 days in hospital, further 10 days off work and 4 to 6 weeks off the bike. I have heard that the recovery time is not a pleasant time and is rather painfully/uncomfortable. Is it that bad?
  16. Always have pepper spray with me. I have considered taking my telescopic baton with but the thing rattles and would drive me nuts. If I can find a silent one it would sit where the cycle pump goes.
  17. I would look at the Vstrom 650
  18. My first ride on the Titan towards the end of last year
  19. My son in law is looking for a SLX front caliper set for his Anthem
  20. I actually see what is causing the problem here. Your continued use of the word please is the issue. It makes you sound nice, friendly and accommodating. Me again.........
  21. My cycling buddy bought a chainring from Temu...... let's just say lessons were learnt 🤣
  22. Cannot comment personally on the Tiger but I have q friend here in PE that has a 800 Tiger that has just clocked 100 000km. He loves it and he used to have a 1200 Tiger.
  23. GFS are the worst. The wife always has issues when GFS is the courier
