the longer I watch the cycling industry grow stuff like this become more and more "reasonable " to me 

Its fun how we cant help but measuring relative value in our different interests.

I often think that item X seems quite expensive in one hobby and item Y seems ok in another, often item Y will be multiple times the cost of X

 

In reality when I think about what both items actually are then it suddenly makes X look cheap and Y look really expensive!!
