This is the best way to put it. I am currently doing a tour up to Namibia (hopefully) and quite often I ride on the other side of the road. It is easier to see what is coming and take the appropriate action. I get a lot of crazy looks but for me it is the safest way. If I piss one or two people off so be it. Living in a country where there is so little respect for life or driving I only look after myself.

 

I stayed in Namibia for more than a year.  Riding is a lot safer there than in SA, most of my rides there were single or at most 2 people, enjoy, there are some awesome places to ride
