Lazy weekend ride to Magaliesberg and back

Hi all

 

I'm in Johannesburg for January and am planning a lazy cycle to Magaliesberg and back on the weekend from 16-17 January.

 

I plan to follow this route-ish:

Anyone keen to join? Be warned though -  I am not a fast cyclist. I cycle purely for pleasure

Would be great if you could join for a bit. I'm planning to start around 08:00 on Saturday morning so as to avoid midday heat, then have lunch at Lover's Rock, and then perhaps go for a short hike in the afternoon / cycle around town. I'll stay overnight and then cycle back on Sunday afternoon.

 

But I clearly don't know Magaliseburg from Magaliesberg So I'm very open to any suggestions of fun outdoor things to do in the area.
