Hi everyone,

[My first post]

I started Mountain Biking last year, loving it

I stay in Joburg South, needless to say my go to places are Thaba and Rietvlei. I ride the green route at Thaba on Saturdays and the green at Rietvlei on Sundays. I am very keen in riding Kingskloof.

Anyways, I was riding on Saturday at Thaba and after about 19 km (when I got to the side wall where the estate is) I realised I was riding with locked suspension  :whistling:

No wonder going downhill felt weird, my feet were all over the place and my hands were sore afterwards

Did I damaged my bike by doing this?

Shouldn't I wouldn't imagine - particularly for such a short distance.

I have have ridden the Suikerbossie loop and 94.7 with both fork and shock locked out with no noticeable issues.

Will be interested to see what those with more technical know how have to say though
